Job Description
The Contract Analyst I is an entry-level professional responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and administering contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and client specifications. This role provides critical support to the contract management process by assisting with drafting, monitoring, and maintaining contract records. The Contract Analyst I collaborates closely with internal departments, vendors, and clients to help manage risk, ensure accuracy, and maintain positive business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contractual terms and conditions to identify risks, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
- Assist in drafting, preparing, and revising contracts, amendments, and related documents.
- Support contract negotiations by providing research, data analysis, and recommendations.
- Maintain organized records of contracts and related correspondence in the company's contract management system.
- Monitor contract performance and deadlines to ensure obligations are met.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and dashboards to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure contract alignment with company policies.
- Respond to inquiries regarding contract interpretation, compliance requirements, and status updates.
- Support audits and compliance reviews by gathering and presenting contract documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, legal support, or a related function (internship experience acceptable).
- Familiarity with contract terminology, legal principles, and business compliance requirements.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems or document management tools is a plus.
Required Skills

- Ability to interpret and summarize legal and financial documents clearly.
