How do I make an account on the ΣΑΕ Job Board?
If you're an SAE member and haven’t activated your account on the new SAEconnect site, you can easily do so. Here's how:
- Click “Forgot Password” on the login page and enter your SAE associated email address. This will send you a link to set your password and activate your account.

I’m an SAE alumnus. Can I still create a job board account?
- Yes, the ΣΑΕ Job Board is open to all members in good standing.
Is this page accessible to people outside of ΣΑΕ?
- While anyone can access the ΣΑΕ Job Board, only members can create accounts and apply for jobs. We verify a user's affiliation with ΣΑΕ before we grant them access to the job board.
How do I apply for an open position?
- Log in to your account on saeconnect.com. Select the job you are interested in and click the “Apply Now” button. Your application will either be submitted directly to the Employer, or you may be directed to the Employer’s website to apply.
Can I contact the employers directly?
- If an employer shares their contact information within a job posting, then yes, you can contact them directly. Otherwise, please email us at careerconnect@sae.net with any questions or concerns regarding the ΣΑΕ Job Board.
What happens to my application once I submit it?
- Once you submit your application, it will be sent to the employer and they will evaluate your application. This process can take up to a few months, depending on the company or position. The employer will contact you directly if they are considering your application.
How will I know if my job application was submitted correctly?
- After submitting your application, you will see a green “application sent” notification at the top of your screen. This message will also appear on the job posting you applied to.
