Job Description
The Graphic Designer I is an entry-level creative professional responsible for producing visual designs that support the company's branding, marketing, and communication objectives. This role involves assisting with the development of graphics for both digital and print media, ensuring consistency with established brand guidelines. The Graphic Designer I works under supervision, gaining experience in applying design principles, collaborating with internal teams, and delivering high-quality creative assets on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit visual content for digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and presentations.
- Design marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, posters, and reports.
- Assist with the development of layouts, infographics, and visual templates to support branding and communication efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing, communications, and creative teams to ensure visual consistency across all channels.
- Prepare artwork files for production and assist with print-ready specifications.
- Support senior designers and other team members with project execution and creative brainstorming.
- Maintain and organize design files, assets, and templates for team use.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve creative output.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0–2 years of professional design experience (internships, freelance, or academic projects considered).
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Familiarity with branding, typography, and layout principles.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD) or equivalent design tools.
- Basic understanding of digital design, including web graphics and social media assets.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback into designs.
