About Futures First
Futures First is a transformative program supportingTransitional Age Youth (TAY)ages 16–28 navigating homelessness, justice involvement, foster care, behavioral health challenges, and other systemic barriers. We walk with youth from crisis to stability, and beyond.
What You"ll Do:
·Lead the Futures First program, ensuring trauma-informed, culturally-rooted, and community-centered care
·Supervise a dynamic team of program managers, case managers, and coordinators
·Collaborate with housing, justice, and mental health partners to drive systemic change
·Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and contract funding requirements
·Represent APF across coalitions, stakeholder groups, and youth-centered collaboratives
What We"re Looking For:
·3+ years of experience working with TAY or vulnerable youth populations
·1+ years in program leadership or team supervision
·Expertise in foster care, juvenile justice, homelessness, or behavioral health systems
·Bachelor"s degree in Social Work, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
·Lived experience and/or bilingual (Spanish, Khmer, Tagalog) a strong plus
