AIRO is developing the next generation of advanced General Aviation Avionics systems that will bring new levels of Functionality, Usability, Integration and Value to existing and new aircraft for a broad spectrum of General Aviation aircraft. Position Overview:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for inventory control of sensitive product, parts, supplies, and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and maintain current inventory levels and ensure these levels match what is logged into our ERP system. Able to control inventory through superior stock room organization.
· Perform physical counts of inventory and reconcile actual counts to system counts. Develops root cause and corrective actions for items that do not reconcile with the system.
· Generate production orders and pick materials based on pick lists to be used in production. Able to follow a predetermined build schedule to perform the kit releases to the production floor
· Re-stock items as necessary including returned material from customers
· Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry
· Responsible for revision control on inventory in stockroom
· Meet productivity objectives and timelines for national and international shipping and receiving
· Demonstrate the ability to ship orders in a manner that maximize Aspen revenue for the month with little supervisor guidance
· Follow proper handling, packaging and labeling of very sensitive equipment
· Responsible for receiving and ensuring proper unpacking and processing of materials
· Work effectively with employees and vendors while maintaining a high level of quality in a fast-paced environment
· Able to recognize areas in the work cell that need improvement and present a plan to the immediate supervisor. Able to work with the immediate supervisor to implement the plan
· Contribute to creating and supporting Aspen’s health and safety programs.
· Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· A minimum of 1-year warehouse experience in an electronics manufacturing facility.
· Experience working with office equipment and software including computers, tracking systems, copiers and telephone systems. Software experience should include Excel and SAP or other MRP software.
· Ability to learn and retain company procedures and methods
· Strong interpersonal customer service skills
· Punctuality, dependability, accountability and responsiveness to internal and external customers need
· Solid communication and follow-up skills (verbal and written) using proper grammar and delivery methods
· Strong organization/prioritization skills
· Ability to multitask, work independently, follow detailed instructions and problem resolution activities
· Strong team player who works well with others in a professional manner
Education:
· High School Diploma/GED
Physical and Mental Requirements:
· Standing and sitting for extended periods of time,
· Lifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner,
· Ability to work and communicate well with other employees and management, customers, visitors, vendors.
· Ability to perform work utilizing manual dexterity of the hands,
· Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach above and below shoulders, and full use of upper extremities,
· Ability to easily move through an approximately 25,000 square foot warehouse building,
· Ability to read, write, and understand English,
· Correctable vision and hearing.
