AIRO is offering a unique opportunity to join a highly focused and motivated team of engineers in defining, designing, and implementing these advanced systems.
Position Overview:
Assembler and Solderer will Solders electronic components utilizing assembly documents while following Aspen’s specifications and quality control process. Ensures timely completion of the work with consistency, accuracy, and the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
·Completes required soldering activities for assigned orders while consistently maintaining product quality and safe work practices
·Assembles parts together utilizing assembly documents and various hand tools
·Documents tasks with an understanding of quality control process
·Solders parts utilizing specifications
·Meets and maintains daily production rates and goals as established and required by the company
·Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
·Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per company requests
·Reports problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to Manufacturing Manager
·Demonstrates attention to detail
·Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
·Observes safety and security procedures
·Performs other activities as needed and requested
Qualifications:
·3+ years of experience assembling electronics and/or soldering class 2
·Good hands-on skills
·Detailed and results oriented
·Ability to work and communicate well with other employees and management
·Solder Certified J-STD 001
·IPC-A-610 soldering skills for; cable assemblies, connectors
·Windows PC, Microsoft Office
Education:
·High School Diploma/GED
Physical and Mental Requirements:
·Standing and sitting for extended periods of time,
·Lifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner,
·Ability to work and communicate well with other employees and management, customers, visitors, vendors.
·Ability to perform work utilizing manual dexterity of the hands,
·Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach above and below shoulders, and full use of upper extremities,
·Ability to easily move through an approximately 25,000 square foot warehouse building,
·Ability to read, write, and understand English,
·Correctable vision and hearing.
