Job Summary
We’re seeking a passionate and organized Burn Program Manager to help shape the future of burn care. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Burn Program Medical and Nursing Directors and service line leaders to keep the program running smoothly, foster collaboration across disciplines, and ensure our team is fully prepared for American Burn Association (ABA) verification.
What You’ll Do

Partner with leadership to advance burn care through program planning, organization, and continuous improvement.

Coordinate interdisciplinary communication and keep the team aligned on goals, quality standards, and best practices.

Lead preparation and maintain documentation for ABA verification of Adult, Pediatric, and Fellowship programs.

Provide leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary care team, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national standards.

Support seamless continuity of care—from critical care to the floor, into rehab, and beyond into outpatient services.

Apply your expertise in nursing practice, burn systems, teaching, and quality improvement to elevate patient outcomes.

Annual Salary Range: $109,366.40 - $161,324.80
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher degree in nursing.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Must have at least five (5) years of clinical experience relevant to Burn Nursing with at least two (2) years of progressively responsible demonstrated leadership experience.
Specialized Training:
- Within two (2) years of hire or the next available class, must complete the Advanced Burn Life Support Instructor training.
- An Advanced Trauma Course (ATCN, TNCC, FNATC, or TNS) is strongly preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must possess a current, valid Arizona RN license and be in good standing with the AZ Board of Nursing.
- Must have ACLS and PALS. A student or instructor card is acceptable.
- Must complete the Advanced Burn Life support within one (1) year of hiring.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be self-directed.
- Familiarity with quality assurance/risk management programs and patient and staff education preferred.
- Adult and Pediatric burn knowledge is required.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing, including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
- Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Applications.
- Knowledge of Electronic medical records and Burn registry is required.
