Location: Sinai Chicago (Mount Sinai Hospital & Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital)
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Position Overview
Sinai Chicago is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic Full-Time Inpatient Occupational Therapist (Rotator) to join our highly skilled and respected therapy team.
This unique rotational role allows therapists to expand their clinical expertise by working within a large interdisciplinary team. Therapists rotate every six months across multiple care settings, including:
- Outpatient therapy
- Inpatient rehabilitation (spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, and general rehab)
- Acute care at Mount Sinai Hospital

Our rehabilitation team uses a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to address each patient’s physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. Every patient receives an individualized treatment plan designed to maximize independence and functional outcomes.
Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital
Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital is a 102-bed, freestanding, nonprofit rehabilitation facility offering a full continuum of care—from acute care to inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient therapy—for both adults and children.
Schwab features a unique therapeutic environment, including:
- Seven large treatment gyms
- Multiple private therapy rooms
- A warm-water indoor therapeutic pool
- An award-winning rooftop therapeutic garden
Our multidisciplinary team includes PT, OT, SLP, and recreational therapists, with several bilingual clinicians and board-certified specialists.
We prioritize 1:1 patient care and a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
Minimum Education
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA-accredited program (or equivalent)
Required Licensure & Certifications
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Illinois
OR
- Eligible for Illinois licensure per state guidelines
