Restoration Technician – Mitigation

As a Mitigation Technician at Kustom, you’ll support emergency response and restoration efforts after water, fire, or mold damage. What You Do
- Perform water extraction and emergency mitigation services safely and efficientlyAssist with water, fire, and mold mitigation, demolition, and equipment setupPrepare rooms/areas for work activities including staging and protecting contentsPerform demolition and general cleanup of affected structuresOperate and monitor drying equipment, recording moisture data as neededMaintain clean and organized work areas, tools, equipment, and company vehicleComplete required documentation and upload job photos/updates into databaseCommunicate professionally with customers while supporting project leadershipParticipate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency responsesFollow all jobsite safety standards and hazard identification practicesAdapt and provide support across multiple operations
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GEDAt least one year of experience in a hands-on, physically demanding role Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordStrong work ethic, willingness to learn, clear communicator, and outstanding customer service skillsAbility to follow direction and work effectively as part of a teamAbility to lift over 50 lbs. frequentlyMust be comfortable working on ladders/at heights, in confined and tight areas, as well as perform in extreme heat, humidity, and cold weatherIICRC Certification preferred
