The Monarch San Antonio – A Legacy of Service and Sophistication
The Monarch San Antonio, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is a 200-room, 17-story boutique hotel located in the Hemisfair District of downtown San Antonio. It is set to open in early 2026 and is inspired by the Monarch butterfly that migrates through the region each winter. The hotel will feature a full-service spa, a terrace pool, and five food and beverage concepts, including a rooftop restaurant and bar.

Position Summary
The Wellness Concierge serves as an essential ambassador of the luxury spa experience, providing seamless reception support and attentive locker room service. This role blends refined hospitality, operational efficiency, and thoughtful guest care to ensure every guest feels welcomed, oriented, and impeccably attended throughout their spa journey. The ideal candidate is warm, polished, detail-oriented, and thrives in a service-driven environment where discretion, professionalism, and anticipatory service are paramount.
What You'll Do
Reception & Guest Services
- Greet spa guests with warmth and professionalism, providing a gracious and calm arrival experience
- Manage spa reservations, guest check-in and check-out, and appointment confirmations
- Clearly communicate spa offerings, amenities, pricing, and policies in a confident and welcoming manner
- Handle phone and email inquiries with polished etiquette and attention to detail
- Process payments, gratuities, gift cards, memberships, and retail transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, and notes in the spa management system
Locker Room & Facility Attendant Duties
- Provide attentive, discreet locker room service, including guest orientation and amenity explanation
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of locker rooms, restrooms, lounges, and relaxation areas
- Restock towels, robes, slippers, refreshments, and amenities according to luxury standards
- Monitor facilities to ensure comfort, safety, and readiness
- Assist guests with robes, lockers, and facility navigation while maintaining privacy and discretion
Luxury Standards & Operations
- Uphold the spa's brand standards, service protocols, and hospitality philosophy at all times
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and graciously to concerns or special requests
- Collaborate with therapists and spa leadership to support daily operations and scheduling needs
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Represent the hotel and spa brand with professionalism, poise, and exceptional service
- Perform any other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, spa, hotel reception, or guest relations preferred
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Polished appearance and demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality expectations
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn spa scheduling and POS systems
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds (e.g., laundry bags, supply restocking)
- Capability to work in warm, humid environments such as saunas and locker areas
