OVERVIEW:
The Estimator I role is responsible for accurately calculating the costs associated with the construction of telecommunications tower and cell site projects and ensuring bids are competitive and profitable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to read constructions drawings and create BOM’s and SOW based upon drawings.
- Ability to show a breakdown of the labor and materials for all segments of construction, Installation, Integration and Optimization as needed
- Review project documentation including analyzing construction drawing and specifications to understand the scope of work for telecommunication construction projects.
- Assist project management in setting up job using negotiated bis from subcontractors/vendors
- Calculate labor, materials, and equipment costs for various projects, including tower construction and site development.
- Prepare change order estimates and estimates for build projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships to secure competitive pricing for materials and services with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Utilize various client bidding software for electronic bidding.
- Follow instructions to accomplish assigned work in a timely and accurate manner.
- Familiar with material applications for different site conditions
- Perform pre-work and post-work site audits and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for site-specific activities and projects.
- Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree required or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating construction projects, preferably with telecom and new build construction projects with a strong civil background.
- Ability to bid jobs, put together proposals, understand the estimating process, work with construction, electrical, technical and project management team.
- Have a strong understanding of the wireless project life cycle.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, meet required deadlines within a special time, and calculate dimensions and materials as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to accommodate out of town travel and work a flexible schedule including weekends.
- Good communication skills, reading and writing skills (English)

Compensation details: 75000-82000 Yearly Salary
