This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality products are produced right the first time.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRack raw parts for chrome plating according to work instructionsAccurately identify parts and apply correct racking methodsVisually inspect materials during handling and report issues such as defects, mislabeling, incorrect counts, missing instructions, or improper racking of materialsMaintain proper workflow to meet production goalsWork collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing environmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areasAssist with inspection and de-racking activities as neededPerform additional duties as assignedRequired Competencies, Skills & ExperienceStrong attention to detail with a focus on first-time accuracyPrior manufacturing experience preferred (training provided)Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsManual dexterity to handle, squeeze, pinch, and rack parts of various sizesAbility to work overtime as business needs requireEducation & Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredWork Environment & Physical DemandsStand, walk, and move throughout the shiftUse hands repetitively to handle and rack partsLift and move materials weighing up to 50 poundsTwist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend as requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerMPC Plating is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
