This role is critical to minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systemsSupport the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to achieve 100% on-time complianceComplete assigned maintenance procedures on chemical tanks, piping systems, air compressors, and other electrical and mechanical equipmentTroubleshoot and repair equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and control-related issuesCommunicate and collaborate with production operators to assist with equipment repairs and troubleshootingMaintain the maintenance area, ensuring tools, parts, and supplies are properly stocked and organizedMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environmentAttend required meetings and training sessionsUse required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safely work at heights and around chemicalsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired Competencies, Skills & ExperienceWorking knowledge of electrical wiring and building electrical systems is preferredPlumbing experience, including CPVC and PVC piping, preferredBasic carpentry skills for facility repairsAbility to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectivelyFlexibility to work varying hours, overtime, and short-notice assignmentsEducation & Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredAn equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is consideredExperience with plumbing, pipefitting, welding, fabrication, and electrical systems is a plusExperience in troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls is a plusDemonstrated ability to lead, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teamsProficiency across multiple technical disciplines and problem-solving techniquesWork Environment & Physical DemandsWork in a manufacturing and industrial environmentStand, walk, climb, bend, and reach throughout the shiftLift, carry, and move materials and tools as requiredSafely work around chemicals, equipment, and elevated areas while using PPEEqual Opportunity EmployerMPC Plating is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
