The Coordinator for AI and Transformational Technology supports the adoption, implementation, and operationalization of artificial intelligence initiatives across Beacon Health System. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in AI project coordination, research, workflow documentation, and technology enablement. The position works closely with leaders and project teams to advance AI-driven transformation efforts that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and enterprise digital maturity.

AI & Technology Project Support
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking AI-related projects and pilots.
- Maintain project timelines, task lists, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Assist in documentation of workflows, governance processes, and considerations.
Research & Analysis
- Research emerging AI tools and healthcare trends.
- Prepare summary briefs and recommendations for leadership.
- Microsoft 365 & Intelligent Agent Development
- Learn to design intelligent agents in Outlook, Teams, and Power Automate.
- Support creation of AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform.
- Assist with configuration and testing of automated workflows.
Governance & Compliance Support
- Support governance documentation and committee operations.
- Assist alignment with HIPAA, FDA guidance, and regulatory frameworks.
Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with IS teams on integration of AI solutions.
- Maintain dashboards and reporting.
- Support vendor demos and proof-of-concept work.
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate complies with the following organizational requirements:
- Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
- Completes mandatory education, annual competencies and department specific education within established timeframes.
- Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
- Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
- Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong interest in AI, machine learning, digital health, or computer technology.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn new platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to AI concepts, data governance, or healthcare IT.
- Basic understanding of compliance considerations in healthcare technology.
