Position Summary
We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our Surrey clinic. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of our medical practice by providing outstanding patient service, assisting healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate records. This is a patient-facing role that requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
What you will be doing
- Greet patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and warmth.
- Gather and input patient information for electronic medical records (EMR).
- Schedule, modify, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Maintain and organize medical supplies and office inventory.
- Prepare patient samples when required and ensure appropriate labeling and handling.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and assist clinicians during patient visits as needed.
You have
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) program or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of OSCAR EMR or similar systems is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The wage offered for this position falls within a specified range and will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and organizational needs.
