We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Chief Engineer.
What will you be doing most days?
- Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and provide great guest service
- Perform preventative maintenance duties and procedures as needed
- Lead a team of Building Maintenance Tech I and II to complete tasks as assigned by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (QUORE).
- Perform a variety of tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
- Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting projects
- Oversee all 3rd party outside contractors
- Respond to emergency situations promptly
- Always maintain a professional appearance
- Complete other duties as assigned
What are the requirements for this position?
- You have been currently working as a Building Maintenance Tech/Engineer for at least 2 years or at least 4-5 years of experience in a related field
- You are currently managing at least one subordinate
- You have proficient knowledge of hand tools and maintenance duties
- You have time management capability to accomplish work within established parameters
- You have a customer service focus and the ability anticipate guest needs
Physical Requirements for this Position
This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements
This position would require 10% travel.
Pay Scale: $29.56- $46.77/hour
