Our laboratory team has an exciting opportunity for a Phlebotomist who believes in our Lab's Mission Statement of working collaboratively to ensure quality results for every patient every time.
Job specifications: This 3rd shift position includes drawing inpatients, participating in a rotation of drawing nursing home patients on occasion, stocking and cleaning areas, performing inventory checks, filling supply orders, running COVID, flu and strep testing, receiving specimens in the lab, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of computers
- Must have regular reliable transportation
- 1 year of hospital phlebotomy experience, including registering patients. 2+ years preferred.
- Completion of phlebotomy training at an approved school.
