Position Summary:
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Associate Degree
Minimum Experience: Sufficient previous clinical experience medical/surgical,
ICU
Required License/Registration: Registration and current WV RN license
BLS certification
ACLS & PALS required within one year of employment
Physical Demands: Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients
Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking Lifts supplies/equipment
Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching
Working Conditions: Regularly exposed to the risk of Bloodborne diseases
Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
Exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries and illness)
Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
Handles emergency or crisis situations
May perform emergency care
Travel required
Subjected to irregular hours
Pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries
