Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Minimum Experience:
- Sufficient previous clinical experience in area of expertise
Required License/Registration/Certification:
- Registration and Current WV RN Licensure
- BLS certification within 90 days of employment
Preferred Certification:
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- OCN – Certification in Oncology Nursing
- ONS – Chemotherapy Biotherapy Fundamentals
Or
- ONS/ONCC – Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
Or
- ONS/ONCC – Radiation Therapy Certification
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
- Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients
- Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Working Conditions:
- Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne diseases
- Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances
- Exposed to unpleasant elements
- Exposed to patient elements
- Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
- Handles emergency or crisis situations
- May perform emergency care
- Prolonged standing/walking
