Director of Operations, Specialty Surgical Services Position Summary
The Director of Operations, Specialty Surgical Services provides operational and administrative leadership for the physician network’s surgical services, including general surgery and surgical subspecialties such as ENT, urology, neurosurgery. The Director ensures that ambulatory and hospital-based surgical practices operate efficiently, meet performance benchmarks, and align with the health system’s surgical service line strategies.
Director of Operations, Specialty Surgical Services Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years of progressive leadership experience in physician practice operations or health system ambulatory services is required.
Director of Operations, Specialty Surgical Services Schedule
- Primarily day shift, Monday through Friday
- Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
