Scheduling Insurance Verification Supervisor Position Summary
This position is responsible for supervising and supporting the registration process and insurance verification for all patients. Ensures complete and accurate demographic, clinical and financial data is collected and available to appropriate resource areas. Ensures exceptional customer service is consistently delivered during the intake process.
Scheduling Insurance Verification Supervisor Position Requirements
Education
- Associate of Arts Degree with concentration in business or two years of college (approximately 60 credit hours) in business, management, or related courses preferred.
Experience
- Requires 3 to 5 years of patient access or patient financial services experience with a minimum oftwo years supervisory experience.
- Familiarity with computer systems, medical terminology, coding and office practices.
- Computer experience and keyboarding (typing) required.
Scheduling Insurance Verification Supervisor Work Schedule
- Expected to work sufficient time and hours to manage the workforce and complete duties including planning for future goals.
- Hours will exceed normal staff hours.
- Expected to show a presence on all shifts of supervision.
