Familiarity with GAAP and healthcare finance best practices

Position Requirements:
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
Experience:
2+ years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare setting
License/Certification:
-
CPA or Master’s Degree preferred

Key Responsibilities:
-
Prepare monthly financial statements and general ledger entries
-
Maintain accurate account reconciliations for prepaid expenses, bond, and foundation funds
-
Complete AR legacy reserve entries for multiple facilities
-
Perform bank account reconciliations and cash flow analysis
-
Analyze expense accounts and assist with inventory reconciliation
-
Support statutory tax reporting, property/sales tax filing, and internal audit documentation
-
Coordinate month-end close and rotating financial statement duties with accounting leadership
-
Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in line with ARHS standards

Compensation:
-
Pay range: $28.42 – $42.00/hour, based on education, experience, certification, and internal equity
-
Benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment from the new hire orientation date

This is a non-exempt position
