Position Summary
The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for administering infusion treatments to patients in a clinic setting. The role involves promoting a healthy working environment, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care. Responsibilities include:
- Administering infusion treatments according to established protocols.
- Assessing and monitoring patients during infusion therapy.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records.
- Promoting a positive and health-conscious working environment.
- Scheduling patients for infusion treatments as needed.
- Educating patients and their families about infusion therapy and self-care.
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience. Hiring compensation range starts at $34.00 / hour. This is a non-exempt position.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Education

Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) is reqired, BSN preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
Experience
-
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Previous experience in infusion therapy is highly desirable.
Required Registration/License/Certification

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.

Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association is required at time of hire.

Additional certifications in infusion therapy are a plus.

Proficient in administering infusion therapy.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
