We have just announced our Series C funding, and are looking for a Technical Talent Acquisition Manager to support us with the significant growth that we have planned this year and beyond. About the Role
As our Technical Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll work alongside our People team to attract exceptional engineering talent and help ensure a standout employee experience from day one. You’ll be reporting to our Director of Talent Acquisition, Deb Goldfarb, and working closely with hiring managers within our development team speaking their language and understanding the technical nuances that matter when hiring top-tier technical talent.
This isn’t your typical recruiting role, you’ll be at the heart of our talent strategy, combining talent acquisition with fun and creative initiatives to attract and engage top talent. From finding the perfect candidates to helping craft a culture where everyone feels supported and engaged, you’ll play a key role in making this a fantastic place to work.
Some of your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and collaborating on employer branding initiatives. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and partner with them to attract top talent.

What You’ll be Doing
As a Technical Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll play a vital role in attracting and hiring top engineering talent. You’ll own the entire recruitment process, partnering closely with stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective hiring experience.
- Conducting detailed intake meetings with hiring managers to understand their needs, define role requirements, and establish clear hiring timelines.
- Leveraging multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to proactively find and engage high-quality candidates.
- Proactively building and maintaining a strong talent pipeline by sourcing candidates through various channels and cultivating a network of top talent through meaningful relationships and ongoing engagement.
- Overseeing the entire candidate lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to interview coordination and post-interview debriefs.
- Acting as the primary point of contact, providing timely updates and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to develop competitive offer packages and delivering offers to candidates in an engaging and professional manner.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline the recruitment process and enhance hiring outcomes.
- Representing the company in a compelling way to attract talent and ensure alignment with our culture and values.
- You’ll proactively identify and attend industry events, meetups, and conferences to build pipelines and strengthen our employer brand.
- Staying on top of changes in the talent market, including (but not limited to) trends in compensation, advances in technology, and changes in regulation.
What You Offer Blue J
- You’re a people-person who excels at building strong relationships with both candidates and stakeholders.
- You take the time to understand their needs and leverage your data-driven insights and expertise to guide and influence the recruitment process.
- Your consistent communication ensures that candidates feel engaged and stakeholders are always informed and aligned.
- You have 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally including time at an agency, and have successfully hired across a range of roles within the software development space such as backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, QA, and engineering leadership.
- You bring a strong network of technical talent and know how to tap into it.
- You stay informed on industry trends, technology and best practices in talent acquisition, continuously enhancing recruitment processes to improve the candidate experience and drive success.
- You’re scrappy and solutions focused - if you haven’t done something before, you’re resourceful and do what it takes to figure it out.
