Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Scrub Tech to join our team in the Operating Room at the main hospital in Bolivar, Missouri! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The OR consists of 23 active surgeons who perform an average of 372 surgeries/month. The OR has 6 outpatient, 3 inpatient, and 1 C-section designated suites that run 4 teams of staff/day. The surgeons work to educate, train, and develop staff to operate fluidly together.
A typical day includes: Assisting with the supplies and needs of the department. Maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment; knowing and applying aseptic and sterile techniques as applicable
- Provides perioperative care of the patient
- Prepares the operating room and equipment
- Provides support to physicians and nurses while the procedure is underway
- Handles specimens collected
Job Requirements:
- Education: Associates Degree
- Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist or LPN with scrub tech experience
- Skills: Organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking
- Licensure/Certification: Preferred Certified Surgical Technologist
- Physical: Ability to work standing 90% of the day and work for the remaining 10% at a computer
The position is: Part-time working 40 hours every two weeks, 7:00am-5:30pm.
