Position Overview
The ECM Data Analyst / Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating program operations and using data-driven insights to support the delivery and effectiveness of the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) program. This dual role combines administrative coordination with advanced data analysis and reporting to ensure program compliance, operational efficiency, and improved client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Analysis
- Collect, organize, and maintain ECM program data in alignment with DHCS and health plan reporting requirements
- Create detailed Excel reports, charts, pivot tables, and apply advanced formulas for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), client outcomes, and team productivity
- Analyze data trends to identify gaps in care, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports for internal use and external partners
- Support quality improvement initiatives using actionable, data-driven insights
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all program-related data
Program Coordination
- Support day-to-day ECM operations, including scheduling, internal communications, and monitoring task completion
- Maintain documentation related to program workflows, policies, and performance metrics
- Facilitate team meetings, trainings, and assist in implementing system/process improvements
- Collaborate with care managers, outreach staff, and leadership to ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting
- Assist with onboarding new staff and training on data tools and program workflows
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all reporting and documentation requirements under CalAIM, DHCS, and managed care plans
- Track completion and timeliness of assessments, care plans, and required follow-ups
- Participate in audit preparation and contribute to responses and corrections as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Health Administration, Data Science, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program coordination or data analysis, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel – must demonstrate expertise in creating and managing charts, graphs, pivot tables, conditional formatting, advanced formulas, and data validation
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Familiarity with CalAIM ECM services, DHCS requirements, and managed care workflows is desirable
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
The pay range for this role is:65,000 - 75,000 USD per year(Long Beach)
