Summary:
Yonex USA specializes in producing technologically advanced sports equipment to enable players, both amateur and professional, to play tennis, badminton, golf, snowboard, and pickleball at a higher level. The Junior Accounting Clerk will perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data including accounts payable, billing, and receivables.
This is a temp-to-hire position with an estimated minimum duration of 4 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and mail out invoices, and statements
- Keep track of account list for emailing invoices
- Assist with account statement and account summary
- Assist in processing Credit in Advance (CIA) orders)
- Help with processing daily checks received in mail and prepare bank deposit
- Help with entering daily cash receipts for credit card payments or checks
- Assist with A/P check request and filing A/P
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Abilities & Qualifications
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems
- Intermediate excel skills
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bookkeeping training and experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience or equivalent training required
