JOB SUMMARY

Collaborates and consults with Medical Director to provide comprehensive health care to clients through a formal, organized Occupational Health and Urgent Care program. Coordinates with physicians and other health care professionals in order to provide a broad range of primary health care services for specified customer groups. Collaborates with administrative staff, Medical Director, industrial clients and other staff in the development of strategic plan, making recommendations, regarding staffing, clinic processes, and other issues pertaining to the day-to-day management of the clinic. Must be aware of MHP policies and procedures and assist in providing evidence based practices that meet or exceeds the standard of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills

Demonstrates leadership, management and communication skills. Working knowledge of departmental operations. Comprehensive knowledge and skills of current medical practices, wellness and disease management principles.

Education

Master's Degree in Nursing.

License(s) or Certification(s)

Current Indiana license, certification as a Nurse Practitioner, CPR and ACLS certified.

Other Skills or Requirements

As per credentialing file.

Skilled to Care for Certain Age-Related Patient Groups (incumbents will be skilled in the care of the following patient groups)

All age groups 6 months and older.
