•Infrastructure & Operations
oDirect overall IT infrastructure strategy, daily operations, and system performance to ensure high availability and reliability across mission-critical environments, including hypervisors, cloud platforms, and end-user computing.
oLead infrastructure lifecycle planning, including budgeting and execution of server refresh cycles, network upgrades (firewalls/routing/switching), and hardware management (e.g., laptops and peripheral devices).
oOversee event monitoring and alerting through tools such as Nagios and OpsGenie, while evaluating future monitoring solutions like Centreon to enhance system visibility and response times.
oManage our CMDB, ensuring accurate tracking of service assets, dependencies, and system configurations.
oChampion adoption of ITIL-aligned practices across the IT organization, focusing on change management, incident response, and service continuity to support business stability and scalability.
•Software Development & SDLC Oversight
oProvide strategic oversight of software development initiatives, ensuring SDLC best practices are followed to support scalable, customer-facing solutions while aligning development outcomes with broader business objectives.
oDrive the implementation of reliable billing and support systems that improve service delivery, streamline operations, and support business growth.
oAdvocate for automation and DevOps principles where applicable.
•Cybersecurity & Compliance
oDevelop and implement information security programs covering network security, access controls, and incident management.
oEnsure ongoing compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA frameworks.
oManage risk assessments and internal audits to monitor security posture.
•Leadership, Strategy & Budget Management
oProvide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership across infrastructure, engineering, support, and application teams, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
oSet clear objectives, mentor team leads, and ensure alignment with organizational goals through coaching and performance development.
oDefine and execute a multi-year IT roadmap in partnership with executive leadership, aligning technology initiatives with business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
oAssist with the IT operating and capital budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and ROI analysis on key infrastructure and software investments.
oBuild and manage strong vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, licensing, and service-level agreements, to ensure delivery quality and cost-effectiveness.
