DC Blox operates on a hybrid schedule. We work in the office Tuesday - Thursday and remote on Mondays and Fridays.
Description Summary:
DC BLOX is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Paralegal with 3-6 years of legal experience to join our growing legal team. You'll report directly to the General Counsel and play a critical role in supporting a wide range of legal functions across the company. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic, hands-on in-house environment.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinate closely with and report directly to General Counsel to support all legal department needs, with a focus on contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, and tracking a variety of commercial agreements (NDAs, vendor agreements, customer contracts, construction-related agreements).
- Maintain and organize corporate governance records, including board resolutions, consents, and subsidiary management.
- Assist with legal compliance matters, including insurance, regulatory filings, and license renewals.
- Manage contract and entity databases; maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records.
- Coordinate signatures, manage version control, and help ensure alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and improving legal processes, playbooks, and templates.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification preferred.
- 3-6 years of corporate or commercial paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (prior in-house experience a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal tech tools (e.g., DocuSign, CLM systems, entity management platforms) is a plus.
- Interest in technology, infrastructure, or the data center industry is a plus.
