JOB SUMMARY:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse I (LVN) works with all members of the healthcare team to deliver care as assigned. The LVN is under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs direct and indirect patient care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current Licensed Vocational Nurse with IV certification to practice in California.
2. One year acute care experience preferred.
3. One year ER experience preferred.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.
5. Must successfully complete an Arrhythmia Recognition class within the first year of employment
or show competency.
6. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in the English language.
7. Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence Skills with our patients, families, and
co-workers.
8. Experience with splinting and wound care preferred.
