About: A confidential international chemical distribution and trading
organization is expanding its Asian sourcing and export operations.
This role develops new international customers and expands chemical
exports from South Korea into global markets — a hands-on customer
acquisition and revenue-generating sales role for someone who can turn
established industry relationships into profitable long-term business.
Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new international chemical
customers; build a pipeline of buyers, distributors, manufacturers,
importers, and traders; convert existing relationships into new
commercial opportunities and open new accounts; develop export
opportunities across North America, Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, and
other markets; present Korean chemical products, prepare quotations,
and negotiate pricing and supply terms; manage customer inquiries,
sourcing requests, account relationships, cross-selling, and repeat
business; maintain Korean manufacturer and supplier relationships;
monitor pricing, market trends, competitors, and emerging product
opportunities; meet individual sales and revenue targets.
Required: 3+ years in chemical sales, international trading, chemical
distribution, or a related commercial role; professional fluency in
Korean and English; existing legal authorization to work in South
Korea; experience working with chemical manufacturers or distributors;
established relationships with chemical buyers or decision-makers;
proven ability to develop new customers and generate revenue; strong
negotiation, account-development, communication, and
relationship-building skills.
Target Products (both roles): Industrial chemicals, specialty
chemicals, petrochemicals, solvents, process chemicals, chemical raw
materials, performance chemicals, polymers & resins, additives,
intermediates, commodity/specialty products.
