Now Hiring: Beach Chair Liaison

About the Role
Are you a people person? A chair person? Both? We're looking for a Beach Chair Liaison to serve as the vital bridge between our guests and their seating. You'll be the face of relaxation, the champion of lumbar support, and the first line of defense against wobbly legs in soft sand.
What You'll Do
- Build strong relationships with all chairs in inventory. Learn their names. Respect their boundaries.
- Mediate disputes between guests and chairs that "just won't unfold right"
- Keep an eye on the sun and adjust chairs to optimal tanning angles every 45 minutes
- Hold quarterly one-on-ones with the umbrellas to keep the shade strategy aligned
- Deliver the bad news, with grace and compassion, when a chair has to retire because of rust
- Keep up a strict no-towel-saving policy, enforced with a firm but friendly "bless your heart"
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience sitting in chairs (reclining experience strongly preferred)
- Able to lift 15 lbs of aluminum while smiling like it's nothing
- Fluent in Flip-Flop, with conversational Sandal
- Can stay calm when a chair collapses under someone and they look around to see who noticed
- Bachelor's in Leisure Studies, or equivalent time spent staring at the ocean
Nice to Have
- Certified in Advanced Cooler Placement
- A calming voice for coaxing chairs out of the high tide
- Your own visor
