Job Responsibilities
The Surgical Nurse will have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Assisting surgeons during operations and ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
Preparing the operating room for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
Monitoring patients’ vital signs and providing post-operative care and instructions.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educating patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery processes.
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and charts.
Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
