Registered Nurse - Burn ICUWorking under the direction of the Nurse Manager (or Executive DON, Ambulatory), the Clinical Nurse delivers professional, skilled, and age-specific patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, cost-effective, and meaningful healthcare within a diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and execute tailored care plans.

Collaboration & Advocacy: Partner with physicians and other disciplines while acting as a dedicated client advocate and health educator.

Care Delegation: Provide or delegate nursing care safely in accordance with Valleywise Health policies.

Documentation & Compliance: Complete, process, and maintain all required clinical documentation accurately.

Team Leadership: Indirectly supervise ancillary personnel and actively participate in team-building initiatives.

Quality Improvement: Identify nursing problems and contribute to clinical quality improvement activities.
Hourly Pay Rate: $34.15 - $50.37
The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base rate of pay.

Education:
Experience:

Must successfully complete the Valleywise Health New Graduate RN training program or have prior acute nursing experience demonstrating an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Previous acute care hospital experience in the area he or she is applying for is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
-
Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, a temporary AZ RN license, or a valid compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.

Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.

Requires a BLS card obtained through an American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
