Role Overview:
Alameda Health System is hiring! The Director of Revenue Cycle Innovation is responsible for leading automation initiatives to optimize hospital and ambulatory revenue cycle operations. This role collaborates closely with internal teams and external teams to identify process inefficiencies, develop automation scenarios, and implement robotic process automation (RPA) solutions. By leveraging automation technologies, the Director will work to improve operational performance by reducing rework, improve cash flow, enhance the patient experience using self-service technology and overall revenue cycle performance. This role collaborates with external clients to align and support community standards.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification, however, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.
- Administers comprehensive PT evaluations, using appropriate tests and measurements. Develops and implements a treatment plan, with functional and measurable goals. Documents evaluations, re-assessments and daily progress and progress summaries in medical records in compliance with department policy, state and federal regulatory agencies
- Educates patient, family, other caregivers in management of home exercise programs and use of equipment.
- Supervises and delegates appropriate tasks to a PT Assistant.
- Confers and communicates with referring physicians, support staff, PT Assistants, PTs, department manager as appropriate.
- Communicates with family, case managers, health insurers as appropriate.
- Participates in department in-service and continuous improvement activities.
- Attends, participates and contributes to in-service educational programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Graduation from a college or university program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Minimum Experience: Entry level position; recent experience in another clinical setting related to the area of proposed supervision (acute medical, rehab, SNF, or outpatient) preferred.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS – Basic Life Support, issued by AHA – American Heart Association.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Current Licensure with the California Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist.

Pay Range: $69.43/hour - $77.97/hour
The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
