Position Profile
The New Song Center Evening Coordinator plans and conducts Evening Family Support Group Program and supervises the volunteer facilitators. This person will lead the orientation and monthly meetings for incoming families and is responsible for the placement of families in groups.
This role works 8a-5p Mon/Wed/Fri, and 2p-10 every Tues/Thurs every other week. Additionally will work one weekend a month.
Responsibilities
- Manages monthly Orientations and bi-weekly Evening Family Support groups.
- Supervises volunteer facilitators.
- Participates in providing quality grief and loss education.
- Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills.
- Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, education or related field from accredited program.
- Minimum two years recent experience in a child / family grief and loss program.
- Minimum two years recent experience with child / family grief and loss support group facilitation.
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
Preferred Qualifications
