Decentralized Certified Pharmacy Technician- Acute CareWorks under the direct supervision of the Inpatient Pharmacy
Manager of the HMC-Gallipolis Hospital. Provides medication distribution services to
off-site Emergency Departments as well as Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Provides
coverage for other acute care certified pharmacy technician duties such as medication
distribution within the hospital, IV compounding, Oncology medication IV compounding,
and buying of medications for the health system as needed. Assists the department in
creation of medication distribution records and the proper storage of these documents
within the health system.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician licensure within the State of Ohio
• Active PTCB Certification or equivalent recognized by the State of Ohio
• Active Driver License with ability to drive a health system vehicle at minimum 2 ½
hours per shift
