Security OfficerNote: The compensation range noted above represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
Provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responds to all incidents occurring on hospital campus; conducts patrols on foot and in vehicles; responds to emergencies; provides Public Safety services to patients, visitors, and staff; enforces medical center rules and regulations; identify and report safety hazards and conditions; prepare incident reports and related written communications.
Requires high school diploma and a minimum of one year of security related experience OR completion of a Criminal Justice program at an accredited school; current and valid Mass. drivers license; excellent driving record; Must have, or be able to obtain, CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire; flexibility to work various shift, weekends, and holidays; Defensive tactics, Reserve Intermittent Police Academy training, and CPR certification desired
