Social Media Program Manager
Under the supervision of the Director of Communications and Media Relations, the Social Media Program Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s social media presence by developing strategy, creating content, and managing day-to-day platform execution. This role drives the organization’s digital narrative across social channels by translating institutional priorities, clinical expertise, and community impact into engaging content that strengthens brand reputation and audience engagement.
Annual Salary Range: $86,444.80 - $138,444.80
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience managing social media for an organization, brand, or agency.

Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and support organizational objectives.

Proven ability to create high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats, including copywriting, photography, and short-form video.
Specialized Training:

Familiarity with healthcare communication standards, including patient privacy considerations (e.g., HIPAA).

Experience supporting reputation management or crisis communications in a digital environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, audience-friendly messaging.

Experience managing social media platforms using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, native analytics platforms).

Strong understanding of social media analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.

Experience working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners or agencies.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience implementing institutional social media policies
