Banquet Chef
Rumson Country Club is seeking a talented and dependable full-time Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in supporting our busy banquet, wedding, and golf outing operations. We are looking for a well-rounded chef who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can consistently execute high-quality cuisine for large-scale events.
The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and capable of working collaboratively under the direction of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional looking to grow within a dynamic country club environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a relevant position in the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff effectively

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
