THE ROLE GIFTED is hiring a Gift Assembly Specialist to help prepare our curated gift boxes with care and attention to detail. This is a hands-on, warehouse-based role focused on ensuring each order is assembled accurately, safely, and with a polished, intentional presentation.
In this role, you will assemble gift boxes by arranging products, folding tissue, tying bows, and packaging items so they feel thoughtful and ready to gift. You may also support tasks such as organizing materials, restocking supplies, labeling, and helping maintain a clean and orderly workspace. Following safety guidelines and proper handling procedures is an essential part of this role to ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, consistent, and takes pride in their work. You should be able to follow instructions closely, communicate clearly with team members, and contribute to a respectful, team-oriented workplace.

LOCATIONThis role is based in Los Angeles, CA and requires in-person work at our warehouse. Candidates should be located in or near Los Angeles and able to reliably commute to the warehouse for scheduled shifts.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Gift Assembly & PresentationAssemble gift boxes with exceptional care and attention to presentationFold tissue, tie ribbon, label items, and position products with aesthetic consistencyFollow brand guidelines to ensure each box looks intentional, balanced, and elevatedEnsure consistency across batches so all boxes meet the same presentation standard
Quality AssuranceInspect final products for cleanliness, accuracy, and overall qualityRework or adjust boxes that do not meet quality expectationsDouble-check order components and counts before completion
Warehouse Operations & SupportCollaborate with warehouse and fulfillment teams to prepare batches of orders within set timelinesSupport packing and shipment preparation, as neededOrganize materials, restock supplies, and break down boxesMonitor inventory levels and flag low supplies
Safety & Workspace CareFollow all safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for materials and toolsHandle products with care, especially handmade or delicate itemsMaintain a clean, organized workspace throughout the assembly process

AVAILABILITY, SCHEDULE & HOURS
This is a seasonal position with a tentative start date of Monday, July 27th, 2026, with hours based on fulfillment needs and order volume. Availability is required during high-volume periods, including holidays, large orders, and special projects.
Most shifts take place Monday through Friday (some Saturdays) between 6:00am and 2:30pm PST, though schedules may vary depending on the time of the season and overall order volume.
Below is a tentative overview of the 2026 season:
Training & Preparation PeriodDates: July 27th, 2026 – Mid-November 2026Hours: 24 – 40 hours per weekOverview: Training and prep period including planner inspection, tissue folding, box making, labeling, and wrapping.
Holiday Fulfillment PeriodDates: Mid-November 2026 – December 23rd, 2026Hours: Up to 40 hours per weekOverview: Holiday store launch and peak gift fulfillment season.
Post-Holiday On-Call PeriodDates: After December 23rd, 2026Hours: 8 – 40 hours per week as neededOverview: After December 23rd, this position becomes fully on-call. You’ll be contacted in advance when support is needed for large orders, campaign pushes, or special events, with the option to accept shifts based on your availability.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a warehouse-based role involving hands-on, physical work, including standing for extended periods, using your hands, and moving materials. The role may require occasional lifting and use of tools such as box cutters, label makers, and other basic equipment. Workspaces are active and shared, with varying noise levels and potential hazards such as trips or falls, requiring awareness of surroundings. Team members are expected to follow all safety guidelines and comply with applicable OSHA standards.
