We are seeking a strong, community-minded leader to join our Operations team as a Team Manager in the Northeast Region. This role is critical in supporting field leadership, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining fully staffed, high-performing programs.
Position Summary
The Team Manager is responsible for leading and supporting Lead Supervisors, Area Supervisors, and field teams across multiple markets. This role ensures programs are properly staffed, trained, and operating efficiently while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a dynamic region.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the National Operations Manager or Director of Operations
- Lead and support Supervisors, Team Leads, and Assistant Team Managers to achieve operational excellence
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook for School Crossing Guards and Instruction Manual for Area Supervisors
- Oversee and manage budgeted hours for field supervisory personnel
- Partner with Lead Supervisors to drive recruiting, hiring, and training efforts to meet staffing needs
- Identify, mentor, and develop Lead Supervisors within the region
- Support Lead Supervisors in identifying and developing Area Supervisors
- Oversee and support training for Area Supervisors and field leadership
- Maintain consistent communication with senior leadership regarding program status, challenges, and needs
- Support operational consistency and program growth across assigned markets
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer functions including email, document management, and web-based systems
- Ability to lift, transport, and manage equipment (approximately 20 lbs)
- Ability to manage inventory, supplies, and field equipment
- Must successfully complete fingerprinting and/or drug/alcohol screening as required
- Must maintain a record free of serious offenses
- Must be fully capable of performing the duties of a School Crossing Guard
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $67,500 – $80,000 annually (based on experience, scope of responsibility, and number of employees supervised)
- Position is eligible for a yearly bonus and additional benefits
