SCOPE: Serve as a Senior Cybersecurity Management Specialist on a major IT support contract for the US Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) Headquarters in Aberdeen, Maryland.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Creates, manages and supports Authorize and Assess (A&A) packages and evaluating controls to DoD regulations and security frameworks. Includes expertise in developing packages, and reviewing and providing guidance to System Owners on:
- Overall package maturity
- Security Categorization
- Security Controls selection
- Systems Security Plans (SSP)
- Compliance assessment
- Security scans assessment
- Preparation for IATT/ATO to authorizing officials (AO)
- Updates artifacts and diagrams as needed
- Updates systems of record (e.g., eMass) with artifacts and create POAMS
- As needed, applies expertise in developing and interpreting cybersecurity plans, policies, and procedures (in areas to include but not limited to configuration management, contingency/disaster preparation, incident response, account management, access control, media control, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor’s Degree in directly related field and 7+ years of relevant experience; Additional work experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s degree
- Possess DOD 8570.01-M certifications meeting the requirements for IAM Level III (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
- Relevant experience should be primarily in expert support of all elements of Authorize and Assess (A&A) packages
SECURITY CLEARANCE:- Interim Secret clearance required to start, but must have the ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility if required
