Webmaster Sr (Lead Web Developer) - Fort Lee, VA (On-Site)
OM Group, Inc. is hiring a Senior Webmaster / Web Developer to support web development and content management for Army programs at Fort Lee, VA. This role is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing secure web platforms and SharePoint environments. This is a fully on-site role at Fort Lee, VA.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications, websites, web pages, and digital content
- Administer SharePoint pages, sites, web parts, workflows, permissions, and web services
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and EIT accessibility requirements
- Develop and maintain content using HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB Script, and related web technologies
- Support web analytics, site planning, graphical design, branding, logos, image editing, photo manipulation, video, motion graphics, and multimedia content
- Support blogs, RSS/news feeds, audio/video content, social networking APIs, and emerging web technologies where applicable
- Conduct reviews and audits for accessibility, usability, quality, and compliance
- Provide technical guidance and support for web-based tools and platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or an additional four (4) years of experience developing, designing, and supporting websites
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in web development, website design, web support, or site administration
- Experience with SharePoint administration and web technologies
- Experience with HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, VB Script, web services, and modern web development tools
- Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and EIT accessibility requirements
- Experience supporting multimedia content, graphics, branding, web analytics, content management systems, and web-based platforms
- Experience with tools and platforms such as Microsoft Suite, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Fireworks, Windows Media Player, or similar web and multimedia tools
- Ability to analyze emerging technologies and determine relevance to customer requirements
- Strong problem-solving, oral communication, written communication, and technical documentation skills
- Proximity to and ability to work onsite full time in Fort Lee, Virginia
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Contingent upon contract award
- Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $95,000 to $130,000
