Information Technologist III (VTC Facilitator) - Fort Lee, VA (On-Site)
OM Group, Inc. is hiring an Information Technologist III (VTC Facilitator) to support secure communications and collaboration for Army operations at Fort Lee, VA. This role is responsible for operating, supporting, and troubleshooting video teleconference systems in a secure environment. This is a fully on-site role at Fort Lee, VA.
Responsibilities
- Operate and facilitate video teleconference systems supporting mission operations
- Provide real-time technical support for secure communications sessions, including crypto keying functions where applicable
- Train users on VTC equipment and usage best practices
- Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software, and user access issues
- Coordinate with IT and network teams to ensure system availability and reliability
- Support Microsoft Windows-based environments and enterprise collaboration tools
- Support secure communications operations in accordance with applicable DoD, Army, TRADOC, CASCOM, and local installation requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or minimum three (3) years of additional related experience supporting Microsoft Office products
- 2+ years experience supporting VTC systems and conferencing technologies
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments, client systems, and enterprise collaboration tools
- Knowledge of PC architecture, hardware and software configurations, and IT support concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and end-user support skills
- Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, and related enterprise tools
- Familiarity with secure communications environments, crypto keying functions, and DoD operational settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer-facing support experience
- Proximity to and ability to work onsite full time in Fort Lee, Virginia
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- This position is contingent upon contract award
- Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $60,000 to $85,000
