Hotel Equities, one of the top hotel development and management companies in the industry, is currently searching for a motivated Area Director of Sales! Leading revenue generation efforts across a portfolio of 7+ branded hotels within the Marriott, Hilton, or comparable segments. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in an active selling environment while driving strategy, accountability, and performance across multiple assets.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute strategic sales initiatives across a multi-property portfolio to achieve and exceed revenue goals
- Actively sell and maintain a strong personal book of business across BT, group, and local negotiated segments
- Partner closely with General Managers and Revenue Leaders to align pricing, positioning, and market strategy
- Analyze market trends, STR reports, and demand patterns to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Drive top-line revenue through proactive prospecting, account development, and relationship management
- Coach, mentor, and hold property-level sales teams accountable to performance metrics and activity goals
- Ensure consistent use and optimization of sales systems and tools across all properties
- Represent the portfolio in the local market, industry events, and key client engagements
What You Bring
- Proven success in a multi-property sales leadership role within Marriott, Hilton, or comparable hotel brands
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Delphi, STS, FOSSE, PEP, and MARSHA
- Demonstrated ability to actively sell while leading a team—this is not a purely administrative role
- Deep understanding of the Southern California market, including Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and surrounding areas
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
