About the role
The Quality Assurance Analyst supports development initiatives by owning and leading quality assurance implementation. This roleis responsible fordesigning test cases, organizing project testing, and tracking and reporting testing outcomes to ensure quality is applied consistently across the product development lifecycle.
The QA Analyst partners closely withbusiness, development, and data teams to translate requirements into a clear, executable test strategy, supported by repeatable and consistent test cases, and provides transparency into testing progress, risks, and results to support informed delivery and release decisions.
What you'll do
- Own and lead QA activities forstrategicprojects, ensuring quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle
- Define andmaintaintest strategy forstrategic development initiatives in alignment with requirements, risk, and delivery timelines
- Apply an established QA framework to plan, organize, execute, and manage project‑level testing
- Design, document, andmaintainrepeatable and consistent test cases based onbusinessrequirements and acceptance criteria
- Organize project testing by defining test scope, sequencing, coverage, and entry/exit criteria
- Execute test cases consistently tovalidatefunctionality, data integrity, and expected system behavior
- Track and report testing progress, coverage, and outcomes, including defects, risks, and readiness
- Ensure defects are clearly documented, reproducible, and traceable through resolution in designated systems
- Partner with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, testing scope, and expected outcomes
Qualifications
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, computerengineeringor an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge about leading software tools and technologies including test automation.
- Life and/or Annuity Insurance experience.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile developmentmethodologyand concepts.
The pay range for this role is:80,000 - 115,000 USD per year(Rosemont)
