Position Summary
The Lead Front Desk Agent is responsible for supporting front desk operations, training team members, and ensuring exceptional guest experience.
What will you be doing most days?
· Serve as the lead trainer for new front desk team members, including (but not limited to) training on property management systems, guest experience platforms, front desk procedures, inventory processes, and amenity standards
· Ensure front desk and retail/market areas are fully stocked and assist with inventory tracking to maintain appropriate supply levels
· Act as the primary point of contact for escalated guest concerns in the absence of management
· Maintain and update lobby communication boards and guest-facing materials as needed
· Ensure all shift checklists and operational tasks are completed accurately and on time
· Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay to ensure a seamless experience
· Operate the hotel's reservation and property management systems efficiently
· Handle all financial transactions, including cash and credit card processing, with accuracy and integrity
· Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service to enhance the overall guest experience
· Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, service-focused environment
· Ensure accurate handling of reservations, billing, and payment processes
· Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
· Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs in a timely manner
What are the requirements for this position?
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk, guest services, or similar role
· Strong passion for hospitality and guest service
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements for this Position
This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
National Base Salary Rate: $23.00 - $25.75/hour
