Responsible to Clinical Supervisor and CMG Administrator
The primary role of this position is to assure efficient patient flow through the center; to maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas, and to promote patient satisfaction by interacting with patients in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs.
- Professional
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and/or previous comparable work experience.
- Some knowledge of third party billing.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to maintain confidential medical information.
- American Heart Association BLS training and certification
- Personal
- Maintains good physical and emotional well-being.
- Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Possesses good communication skills.
- Follows directions
- Able to work independently.
- Physical
- Able to speak clearly and communicate in writing.
- Able to free lift 50 pounds.
- Multi-tasking: Obtaining information via the telephone and input the information into the computer system at the same time. At times it may require writing information down while trying to retrieve information from the computer system.
